Need Reviews Please - Bitty Baby Doll Carrier

This is the one that the girl's wear to carry the babies. The ages are 3 and up - would this work for a three year old? or is it too difficult?

Any other pros/cons to this item?

My DD just turned 7, and she wanted this. [img]confused.gif[/img] It closes on the side with velcro, but you may be able to leave it closed and slip it over her head. We haven't tried this yet, so she still needs me to help her put it on. She has only used it 2X. She is disappointed that the baby can't face outward, like a real Baby Bjorn. There isn't a whole lot to say about the item, except that right now the price is good, and the color is pretty. I'm sure your daughter being a little younger, will get more play value out of it! [img]smile.gif[/img]

I bought this for my 3 year old last month and although it is very cute, it just hangs really low on her. I can't get the velcro straps tight enough. I think it will fit a 6 or 7 year old better, which is silly IMO because these dolls are for 3 years and up so you would think that they would make them fit all sizes.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It's kind of hard to get adjusted in the begining, and if a 3 year old is small, carrying it all the time with bitty may start to get heavy. Other than that it works quite well.


My 2 almost 3 year old has one of those car seat/carriers and seems to prefer it ALOT more. He carries his baby around in it, and can also take her in the car that way. His is made by Lissi Puppe, but I'd think the bitty travel seat would work just as good.

I feel the same way. I ended up buying a my twinn doll carrier/car seat for DD and she likes it a lot better. She uses it for her my twinn baby and bitty, although it's a little big for bitty.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">You also might consider the Graco one that is sold at toys r us. It also has a stroller it snaps into, so if they get tired carrying it, they can hook it into the stroller and push it just like the adult version!

The quality on the car seat isn't quite up to AG. But the fact that it has the stroller, it can't be beat for the price!

Not to be a thread buster, but wasn't this sold out online. I checked it a few days ago because it was so cheap and it showed sold out.

Did you click on the actual carrier? When I do it says Sorry out of stock? AG seems to leave pics of sale items up a long time, even when they are sold out. If I am mistaken about it being sold out please let me know [img]smile.gif[/img]
